Description:	This paper provides an overview of biogas production and utilisation. It was prepared by Dr Arthur Wellinger, the Leader of Task 37, in conjunction with the participants in the Task. It draws on the work of the collaborating researchers in Austria, Denmark, Finland, the Netherlands, Sweden, Switzerland, UK, and the European Commission as well as associated networks.
