Decarbonising the Steel Sector
This webinar will present and discuss the key activities and outcomes of the two European projects, BioRECAST and H2Steel, both dedicated to exploring innovative solutions for the defossilization of the steel sector through the use of renewable carbon and green hydrogen.
In addition, the session will offer a broader perspective with an overview of recent work carried out within IEA Bioenergy Task 33, focusing on biocarbon production and its application in metallurgical industries worldwide.
