Communicate practical knowledge on how short rotation woody crop production systems are being used and continually improved to provide economically sustainable feedstocks for the production of “drop-in” transportation fuels as well as traditional bioenergy, bioproducts, and wood and fiber products.

Session Topics:

  • Tree improvement programs
  • SRWC production alternatives (Fiber, timber, and bioenergy)

This conference welcomes presentations and posters on all species of trees (hardwood and softwoods) being commercially grown or investigated for their performance in short-rotation (<10 year) production systems. The conference focus is on communicating practical knowledge about all operations involved in the supply of any woody crop species to a variety of end-use markets.
