About the seminar
Welcome to a final seminar on the future of the waste and energy system in Helsingborg!
Together with Helsingborg’s municipality, Öresundskraft, Näringslivets producentansvar, and NSR, we have explored how behavioural change, legislation, and technological developments (such as CCS and heat pumps) may influence combined heat and power production from waste incineration and its carbon emissions.
As part of the project, we developed a simulation model that enables analysis of different future scenarios for Helsingborg’s waste management and energy supply. During the webinar, we will present selected scenarios and discuss their implications.
