Workshop on the role of Energy recovery in Circular economy

In many presentations of circular economy, energy recovery from waste is something that is undesirerable and does not fill a function. Is that really so or could the energy recovery have an important role in the circular economy? This is the main focus of the workshop, however the aspecs of the role of bioenergy and biorefinery will also be discussed.
