ExCo71 – Waste to Energy – Summary and Conclusions

This publication provides the summary and conclusions from the workshop ‘Waste to Energy’ held in conjunction with the meeting of the Executive Committee of IEA Bioenergy in Cape Town, South Africa on 21 May 2013.

The purpose of the workshop was to provide the Executive Committee with an overview of waste to energy both at a global level and in the context of an emerging economy.

The aim was to stimulate discussion between the Executive Committee, Task Leaders, invited experts and various stakeholders and thereby enhance the policy-oriented work within IEA Bioenergy.
