This papers provides an overview of biomass pyrolysis. It was prepared by Professor Tony Bridgwater, the Leader of Task 34 in conjunction with the participants in the Task. It draws on the work of the collaborating researchers in Austria, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Norway, UK, USA and the European Commission, as well as associated networks.
